What clear aligners are

Removable trays that guide teeth gently

Clear aligners are a series of custom-made, near-invisible trays that move teeth in small steps. You’ll wear each set for ~1–2 weeks, ~22 hours a day, removing them to eat and brush. Digital 3D planning maps your tooth movements from start to finish for predictable, comfortable progress.

Discreet by design

Crystal-clear trays sit snugly over teeth, most people won’t notice you’re in treatment.

Removable & hygienic

Take them out to eat, brush and floss normally, no brackets or wires to clean around.

Digitally planned

In-house 3D scans guide precise tooth movements and show your projected outcome.

Comfortable steps

Each aligner makes a tiny adjustment, keeping forces gentle and predictable.

Tailored to your goals

From minor crowding/spacing to fuller smile tune-ups, plans are personalised to you.

Keep results locked in

We’ll provide a retention plan to help your new smile stay in position long-term.

Answers at a glance

Clear aligner FAQs

How do clear aligners work?
A series of near-invisible trays gently guide teeth into position. We take in-house digital 3D scans, plan the stages, and review your progress at set intervals until your smile aligns.
Am I a good candidate?
Most adults and teens with spacing, crowding or mild-to-moderate bite issues do well. At your consult we’ll assess gum health, bite and expectations, and confirm if aligners are the best route.
How long does treatment take?
It varies by case. Cosmetic tweaks may take a few months; fuller corrections can take longer. Your digital plan gives a personalised timeline and review schedule.
How many hours a day do I wear them?
Aim for ~22 hours daily, remove only for eating, hot drinks and brushing. Consistent wear is the biggest factor in predictable results.
Will I need attachments or tooth shaping (IPR)?
Small tooth-coloured “attachments” can help the trays grip for certain movements. Gentle enamel polishing between teeth (IPR) may create room for crowding. Both are conservative and planned digitally.
What happens after treatment—do I need retainers?
Yes. Retainers hold the new positions while bone and gums adapt. We’ll fit and guide you on wear so your result stays stable long-term.
