She then supported me with follow up requirements with getting replacement retainers. The practise is lovely inside too, highly recommended and won’t hesitate to return in the future. I’ve visited the Smile Showroom quite a few times now as I was having a smile makeover with whitening, a smile trial and composite veneers, and every visit was fantastic. Holly is AMAZING at what she does, my teeth are gorgeous and exactly what I wanted but still look like natural teeth! And she’s very gentle when carrying out treatments which made all the difference. All of the staff there are so lovely and welcoming, I really couldn’t recommend it enough and will be back for my upkeep appointments❤️ thank you all for everything x

Do you offer scale & polish?

No, we use EMS Guided Biofilm Therapy (AirFlow) for all hygiene appointments, including periodontal care. It’s gentler, more precise and works around implants and cosmetic work.

Is AirFlow safe for implants, braces and bonding?

Yes. We use a fine erythritol powder with warm water that’s gentle on implants, porcelain, composite bonding and orthodontic brackets.

Is it suitable for periodontal (gum) treatment?

Yes. For deeper pockets we can use the PerioFlow nozzle to deliver the powder sub-gingivally as part of periodontal maintenance or therapy, when clinically indicated.

Will it help if I have sensitive teeth?

AirFlow is designed to be comfortable, warm (~40°C) water and low pressure help reduce sensitivity compared with traditional ultrasonic or hand scaling.

Does AirFlow whiten teeth?

It removes surface stains and biofilm for a brighter look and smoother feel. For a change in tooth shade beyond stain removal, pair with professional whitening.

How often should I book?

Most people do well every 6–12 months alongside their check-ups. If you’re prone to tartar or undergoing perio care, we’ll tailor a more frequent interval.

How long does an appointment take?

Typically 20–40 minutes depending on your gums and the level of staining. Periodontal sessions may be longer or split into multiple visits if needed.

What powder do you use?

Erythritol, an ultra-fine, anti-bacterial powder that’s effective on biofilm while being kind to enamel and soft tissues.
