Immediate implants are a single-visit placement into the space where a failing tooth has just been removed. A temporary crown is fitted straight away to protect your appearance and guide the gum shape as you heal. After a short integration phase, we fit your definitive, custom-made crown.

What is an “immediate implant” (Part-Exchange)?
It’s where a failing tooth is removed and a dental implant is placed in the same visit, often with a temporary tooth attached. You leave with the gap disguised while the implant integrates beneath the gum.
Will I leave with a tooth the same day?
In many cases, yes. We fit a carefully shaped temporary to protect the site and appearance. The definitive crown is fitted once the implant has integrated.
Who is it suitable for?
Healthy gums, good bone and a tooth that’s restorable for a secure temporary are ideal. Smokers or grinders may still be candidates with a tailored plan and extra care.
Does it hurt?
Treatment is done under local anaesthetic, so you should be comfortable. Expect some tenderness for a few days, usually manageable with routine pain relief and our after-care tips.
How long until the final crown?
A typical immediate single tooth moves from temporary to final crown in ~8–16 weeks, depending on healing and bite. We’ll map your timeline after the 3D scan.
How much does it cost?
The Part-Exchange package (tooth removal + immediate implant & crown) is from £3,750 (mph). You’ll receive a clear, itemised plan and payment schedule before starting.
